Aeles Stone - Stoneware Dinner Plate
This premium stoneware dinner plate was carefully handcrafted from dark stoneware clay, using a traditional potter’s wheel technique. Designed with a deep coupe shape, the plate features softly curved, raised edges and a flat base, ideal for presenting both main dishes and sophisticated culinary creations. Its form is not only visually appealing but also functional—perfectly suited for restaurants that value precision and elegance on the table.
To enhance its artisanal character, the rim was hand-carved using a simple tool, giving each plate a distinctive, raw edge. The entire surface is finished in a refined matte stone beige glaze, which offers a natural, neutral tone that complements any plating style. This glaze is not just beautiful—it also provides excellent durability and resistance, making the plate suitable for daily use in fine dining environments.

Finally, each piece of my ceramic work is carefully created one by one in stoneware clay, so no two pieces are identical.

Please note that matte or satin finishes are more likely to get marked, especially when using cutlery with a high nickel content.
