Pheresa Cloh - Ceramic Serving Bowl
Bold and tactile, this handcrafted ceramic serving bowl brings organic elegance to any table. I made the Pheresa Cloh from white stoneware clay on the potter's wheel, forming a wide, open shape with gently curved walls and a flat, stable base. The exterior is meticulously hand-carved with a rhythmic, almost chiseled texture that contrasts beautifully with the smooth interior.
To enhance the visual depth, I applied a glossy green glaze only to the inside of the bowl, leaving the sculpted exterior unglazed to highlight the natural tone and texture of the raw white clay. This intentional contrast creates a striking visual and tactile experience. Whether placed at the center of a fine dining table, boutique hotel setting, or curated home collection, this bowl stands out as both functional kitchenware and collectible pottery.

Finally, each piece of my ceramic work is carefully created one by one in stoneware clay, so no two pieces are identical.

Please note that matte or satin finishes are more likely to get marked, especially when using cutlery with a high nickel content.
