Jenyvien Tize - Stoneware Vase
The Jenyvien Tize stoneware vase is crafted by hand from sculptural clay and built to last. Each piece is carefully shaped, allowed to dry thoroughly, and fired twice. The heat turns the clay from soft gray to a warm brown tone. I keep the surface unglazed to preserve the sandy, tactile texture and the organic rim. No two pieces are exactly alike; subtle variations are part of their character.
The form is tall and gently oval, with a stable base and a narrow opening that supports a few stems or a simple branch. It appears sculptural even when empty and serves as a serene focal point in living rooms, entry halls, hotel lobbies, or fine dining spaces—the neutral color pairs well with wood, stone, and minimalist interiors.

Finally, each piece of my ceramic work is carefully created one by one in stoneware clay, so no two pieces are identical.

Please note that matte or satin finishes are more likely to get marked, especially when using cutlery with a high nickel content.
